Thanks to Zookeeper in Germany for the help getting some German exclusive sets that have been added this week.
First up there is a series of four Special style sets done in cooperation with Kinder Schokolade numbers 71815, 71816, 71817, and 71818. Each has a klicky in it with an animal.
71815 has a wild pig that is a new color variant. It is slightly more grey and has the look and feel of the recycled content plastics.
71816 has two old style rabbits in it in a light tan color.
Here they are compared to the original trio of tan rabbits on the left.
71817 has a deer fawn in it that seems to be identical to 30 64 3440
71818 has a light tan beagle without any paint.
Also from Zookeeper came the Kaufhof exclusive set 71901 that has a woman with two puppies. The puppies have painted eyes and nose making them new variants.
Also thanks to Zookeeper's help I finally got the 50th Anniversary Magazine with the unicorn in it.
and the baby T rex magazine from last year
Also added in this update were some new set numbers for the old color set animals thanks to Graham B. He also sent photos of the bottoms of the color penguin group with round holes in the base. Usually they have been seen with the more triangular looking holes so this was an interesting variant likely from the earliest sets.
In Playmobil news it seems that there will be another round of McDonald's Happy Meals with Playmobil animals in them. Thanks to Zookeeper again for pointing it out to me. There is a photo on the Austrian McDonalds site showing an orca, a ray and another sea turtle. Wiltopia isn't mentioned specifically but the image name includes Wiltopia 2025 in it so perhaps it means the return of the plant based plastics like the last McDonald's series. We will see.
My box from Daniela has arrived and it includes about 30 more animals from the last year to add to the pages. New variants being added include 4 mostly from magazines that haven't been added previously. That will be coming in the next update in a few weeks.
