I finally have the zoo sets from 2022 in hand, and there are some new animals in them.
The petting zoo set is all repeated animals from previous sets. The big zoo set 71190 has the newest giraffe last seen in the zoo clinic set 70900. The baby giraffe is new. It's color matches the slightly darker yellow of the adult. Part number is 30 62 4465

The bigger surprise in the zoo sets is the lion set 71192. All three lions are new, a lighter color tan than the versions released in the 2020 zoo set. The male is 30 65 5795

Here he is compared to the 2020 version and the Wiltopia one

In addition to the new animals in the zoo sets there is a new part number for the bag of 4 baby penguins, 30 51 4363. There is also a new number for the pair of orange squirrels, 30 61 6902. In both cases close examination doesn't find any differences from other recent releases of both.

That's all in this update. Playmobil still hasn't put the instructions online for a number of the late year sets including Novelmore. So while I have added part numbers that have been posted online by others I haven't been able to confirm with actual instructions. Also still missing are confirmations of the part numbers for animals in most of the Western add on sets from last year.
Thanks for reading - Tiermann
