A few new animals noticed with the most recent batch of part numbers. Instructions for some of the new sets are online, including oddly the Dino Rise sets coming later this year. Still no instructions for a number of the sets from late last year though.

In 70949 the Leonidas Greek History set is this type 2 black horse with the left foot forward but the head of a right  footed horse, 30 65 4065

From the Asterix Cleopatra set 71270 the leopard does have a new number,  30 65 8075. The eyes appear to be the main difference from recent jaguars.

In the Dino Rise set 71263 the velociraptor is in fact a new variant, 30 65 7825

Finally the small dark red scorpion in the Novelmore set 71024 seems to be a new color of dark red from the previous one and has part number 30 06 6614

In general news the Nuremberg Toy Fair has been going on and there have been a couple videos out so far showing some surprises not previously leaked. In animals the newer horse sets have the brushable mane like the brightly colored fantasy brushable mane horses from 2015. Now in more realistic colors though. Possibly a baby sea turtle in December 2023 mermaid gift set. Wiltopia African sets with no new molds. It seems like after the Bio-Farm sets and the Vietnamese style pig there wont be much really new for animals until 2024. Looking to be a quieter year than 2022 was. Things are still in flux though, so we will not really know what get released until the year is nearly over I suspect.
