Apologies for the big posting gap, but it's been a busy season for me. This week there is a small Shields update and a huge Animals update.

First up are the shields.

One new one from the Asterix series, a round center boss in the red Roman arrows heraldry, set 71543

Two new photos of actual shields. From the Dino Rise starter set that will sadly not be coming to the US, here is the dinoasur footprint shield, 30 64 7548

And from Girl Figures 25 here is the Viking Opera shield

Thanks to Bob once again for both of those. I do have series 25 in hand but it will be a couple of weeks until I can get images done on those. Some great figures in those series.

Moving on the the animals of Animobil, there are a bunch of entirely new additions. A combination of new sets, instruction sheets coming available, and new arrivals from part orders out of Germany (Thanks Daniela!)

A new announcement is in the same Asterix set 75413 with the shield shown above. It has an Arabian style horse pair in white with yellow manes.

Two new magazine animals are out in Germany. From the Playmobil Magazine is this green baby T-Rex

and from the Wiltopia magazine a black panther

The panther looks in photos of actual ones to be the usual not quite black of the recycled content sets. The tease for the next issue will be the African Buffalo.

There are some new animals due to either being missed in the first run through of the new sets, or because of part numbers becoming known.

From set 71499 the missed light blue lobster. This may actually be a repeat of one seen in the Funpark shell game sets but we won't know until it is in hand. No part numbers for that set yet, so the corals or other things may be new as well. We will see.

From pirate set 71532 this grey lobster hair ornament was missed

Found in new part numbers - the clamshell box in 71446 is ETN 30 21 0813

In 71469 the ammonite is 30 02 9945

also in 71469 the coral is a new number, 30 02 9885

In set 71503 the color changing octopus has black painted eyes and is 30 62 0739

and the white seashells in that set have a new number, 30 51 5643

In set 71448 the brown seal has a new number, 30 62 0229

In set 71476 the white spotted cat is 30 66 1806

and the red fish toy is 30 03 3575, both are in the new recycled content plastics

In set 71442 the songbird was missed. It appears to be grey and is 30 03 4655

Moving on from instruction finds, here are some new animals that have been found or sorted out via parts orders.

Previously missed in the fairgrounds set 70538 is this green snail toy 30 08 3683

Note it is a new color variation from the two previous green snails seen here

Not previously noted, from the Edeka Advent Calendar German exclusive set is the baby dragon in two tones of green. Body is 30 26 3980 and wings 30 03 0155

A new seated Golden Retrieveer was found through part number searches, it is not known from what set it came if any. Note the overspray color is darker and brighter than other recent versions and the plastic color seems to tbe the light tan like the newer plain standing retriever. ETN 30 65 9575

With the other ones, it is far right

I will not show photos here but the following questions have been answered through part ordering.

From the Alpaca set 71251 the green bird with head down is 30 20 3354, and the yellow one is 30 09 2274

From the rabbit hutch set 70252 the laying brown rabbit is 30 63 5358 and the grey one is 30 63 5338

From 123 set 6957 the yellow clown fish is 60 64 5880 and the green one is 60 64 5870

It turns out I had missed a color difference on the more recent Appaloosa with the mane and tail being a lighter grey. These have now been separated onto two different pages.

Finally, for some reason when people have been trying to order the shiny light blue songbird with head up 30 06 4724, the bird that has been arriving is a darker shiny blue. It seems there is some significant color variation in the batches. This darker shiny blue has not shown up elsewhere so it is included on the same Animobil page as the lighter blue one.

Also added this update are the giant frog and the frog wallet from Naruto. After debating myself about them I decided they met site guidelines well enough and have added them

That's all for this update, it was a big one and took a while to get through.

In general news some images are starting to show up for the fall releases. Fall will be added in future updates, but here are some things we know. At least three dogs in the white color series. New Wiltopia Australia theme with new molds for wombat, platypus and frilled lizard. New Disney sets with the rooster from Moana and Flounder and a starfish from Little Mermaid.

Next up will be Figures 25 and maybe more animal group photos. Then I really need to update the Robots page, it's sadly out of date. I hope everyone is having a good year so far, and a happy Lunar New Year to all.
