For the final post of 2023, I am looking ahead and posting the known animals from upcoming sets for the first half of 2024.

The consumer catalog has been seen in France, and images are available in the usual places online, so here are the known new additions so far.

Continuing with the recycled plastics line there is no Wiltopia, but there are a number of other additions.

From the Bio-Farm theme

From the Horses of Waterfall theme, there is a pony farm

A new theme in the recycled content is Tiny House, just a few animals in that one

Also new in the recycled plastic is the dinosaur theme, I am going to call it Bio-Dinos. The previous Dino-Rise theme is gone and replaced with explorer and paleontologist styled sets.

In regular plastics the biggest new theme area is Mermaids, with the only new molds for this season - jellyfish, and a half clamshell

The half clamshell goes on top of a suction cup to hold them down. Lots of colors on this one

Related to this there are new Pirate sets out; a few now and a few more coming

There are also new Birthday Sets celebrating the 50th anniversary of Playmobil, and new starter sets and super sets as well

1 2 3 includes the Disney Licensed sets now, with some new variants in each

Other smaller themes for animals

Fire Rescue gets the return of the puma, almost certainly in a new tan color

Novelmore just has one small wyvern, but there will be some shields to show when I get to the next Shields pages update.

From Asteryx a camel in a new color perhaps

From Naruto the snake perhaps in a new green or maybe the usual dark green.

From a shopping center theme, the baby dragon in green for the first time

And finally in Girls Figures series 25 the laying deer fawn in grey to represent a baby reindeer

Shields pages will be updated next with the new entries there. I have a small backlog of animals in hand to take pictures of but lighting has been a problem, it's been a dark winter here so far.

As a final addition for this year I will post here one picture and a link to my Santa's Workshop diorama from Christmas 2023.
