Both Shields and Animobil pages have been updated.

 Thanks to Bob for the images of actual shields in this update.

The new Novelmore Advent calendar 71346 has come out and there are 4 new shields in it. Each has a sticker so there are plain and stickered versions of all.

Also recently released are the new SEK security themed sets, and this new riot shield that has two paint variations for the same part number 30 63 0948.

Moving on to the animals there is a new duckling confirmed. The one in Special Plus 71167 Man with Bathtub is a new middle yellow color. No part number known.

That was the only totally new addition. The rest are personal images of 2023 releases.

From Dino Rise

Generally really nice colors on this release series, just missing the dimorphodon that came to me with two left legs. Called parts and a replacement is supposed to be on it's way but hasn't arrived yet.

Most of the wave 2 Bio Farm are here in person, the big set is on it's way but hasn't arrived yet. The rest are here and are great colors. Many, like the white hen and rooster, look like previous releases at first glance but are different colors when next to each other. The big excitement of course is the new potbellied pig.

From the cats set 71309 the first white walking cat.

The dark grey mouse is almost identical to the existing one, so going to be hard to tell them apart in loose sets.

The orange kitten has the same part number 30 63 5478 as the one in the 71248 farm house but mine was a different color.

Some new group photos

In general news Klickywelt.de has exclusively shown the new items catalog for dealers for the first half of 2024. For the 50th Anniversary year of Playmobil, it is very lacking in celebration of the company's history with only one knight that doesn't even have the number 50 on it. Most sets are a continuation of existing themes with a noticeable bias towards lower price points, which makes sense. New molds include jellyfish and a small dinosaur??? Expansion of the Horses of Waterfall equine theme is the biggest for animal lovers, with mermaids making a comeback with the aquatic animals, and dinosaurs in a more regular history/research mode. Hopefully the end of the Dino Rise theme that had too many new molds of equipment and scenery raising the prices of the theme without the actual value additional species would have brought. No Wiltopia to be seen. So a couple of new molds and plenty of additional color variations to be seen in this preview of the new year.
