A number of new animals and some new part number finds to report.

First up is info about the Ayuma Academy set 71030 from last year. The set had a short release and seems to have disappeared from the Playmobil site, never making it to many export markets. I managed to get hold of one and here are the unique animals in it.

There are six new songbirds, three pairs in three colors. The plastic is a shiny style similar to what is used for the seashells.

A new frog color, 30 06 4684

I am calling this one Indigo, the previous similar color is called dark blue

A comparison to the other similar colors

The bright green lizard in the set is 30 62 7268

The clear pink butterfly in the set is a repeated part number 30 23 2963 (butterfly 5), however I find the ones in my set at least to be a brighter pink than seen previously. Here it is lower on the bush with the higher one being the more usual color. That couls of course just be a little color variation in plastic batches.

Other animals in the set that are repeats are the snakefly, Ayuma Bear, Ayuma Snake, and Ayuma Owl. As a whole the set is pretty cool, with a nice rock and waterfalls feature including an island floating in the air and structures in a Chinese style.

Other news from 2022 are a few more part numbers from the Wiltopia first wave. Squirrels pair in light orange are 30 61 6932, light grey mouse is 30 06 5404, the yellow starfish is 30 06 5354 and the part numbers for red and orange are 30 06 5344 and 30 06 5334 but which is which is not yet known.

Moving into 2023 we have a new variation of the German Shepherd dog. It comes in 71162 Specials Plus and has part number 30 65 6145

April 24 2023

This one is a lighter tan color and I am calling it German Shepherd 2 C

Here it is with the A and B versions

April 24 2023

The deer buck in 71188 is new with black eyes. The set doesn't have instructions but the part number for the deer is known, it's 30 65 6215

Also with a known part number is Tonton the pig from the Naruto series set 71115, number 30 65 5575

The latest horse theme has this nice pair of pintos, but the set doesn't have instructions and the part numbers are not yet known

Most of the animals in the horse theme are repeats, but there are two new part numbers for horses known. Both are tan, and I suspect they have had a change of plastics for the tan coloration since so many tan animals seem to have new numbers recently.

In the horse box set 71237, part number is 30 65 7105

April 24 2023

In the picnic set 71239 the halflinger in tan is 30 65 6985

April 24 2023

The ducklings in that set may be new as well. If anyone has the set and it has instructions it would be great to known about that.

The Alpaca set from the Bio-Farm theme 71251 doesn't have instructions but the alpaca numbers are known.

Tan adult is 30 65 8405, white adult is 30 65 7125, and white baby is 30 65 8395. Note the white adult alpaca has a new number and may be a different color than the one in the Wiltopia range. We will see when I have it in hand.

Also in farm the cow and calf from the big farm set 71248 are known now, cow is 30 65 8465 and calf is 30 65 8475

The Wiltopia Magazine has been released in Europe. First issue had the jaguar in it, and the third the tiger - both repeats from what I have seen so far. The second issue though has the baby rhinoceros, sure to be a new color variant.

In my hands now but no knownpart number is the Tyrannosaurus baby in orange

That's it for this update. More to come next month as always. Lot's of info is known about the second half releases but I am holding off adding much until we are fairly sure it is going to happen. I've always preferred to wait until sets show up in released catalogs or on company websites before listing them, since everything prior to that is subject to possible changes. Check out the Amclicks forum for the best listings of upcoming sets.

Thanks for reading - Tiermann
