This update to Animobil includes the final set from the Wiltopia Amazon theme being released this season. It didn't show up on the site page until the theme was released in Germany this month. It is set 71013 and includes the following new colors of animals:

All are recolors, but the hummingbird is a new mold with this theme.

Also newly confirmed is the lobster hair ornament in dark red from 71024

Traveling back in time to 2021 the small wyvern seen in 70870 is indeed a new color combination, blue with tan. Thanks to Lucien for the image and Gaetan for helping me make the contact to get confirmation.

The other big news is the arrival on the German site of the Dragons: The Nine Realms licensed sets, a continuation of the How to Train Your Dragon series. A really attractive looking series.

Other additions to the site this update are the giraffe from 70900 that is indeed a different color. A slightly darker yellow than the last or the Wiltopia one, but lighter than the old versions.

Wiltopia Amazon is out in Europe and showing up in some retailers in the US. I expect it to be available online generally by the end of the month, along with the new Advent Calendars. Lots of updates to come.

The total for the year so far is now at 160 new animal variations. That's a huge all time record by more than 50 over the past highest years. A big chunk of that is Wiltopia, and when the new sets arrive I expect to find a few more based on part numbers, including many in the Wiltopia Advent Calendar. It's a wild year for Playmobil animal collectors, and Playmobil fans in general. No leaks yet of items from next year except for those that are delayed from this one. With the company having a reduced production lead time compared to the past we may not see things as far ahead. Time will tell. Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany is February 1 to 5 and is rumored to have all tickets already sold out. We will see in 4 or so months if there are any surprises waiting for us.

Thanks for reading - Tiermann
