Two blog posts today. Usually I post directly on the front page, then later move the content to a lower level page after some time has passed. Things are happening so fast this year the front page has been rotating frequesntly, so be sure to check older pages from the past lilnked below if you haven't visited in a while. Today there will be a general news update on this page, and a special page created about Wiltopia Wave 1 sets. I am giving it a dedicated page immediately since I plan on posting the page link at PlaymoFriends.com as a reference about the series.

In general news I picked up the Diving starter gift set 70678 and found the coral in that set in unique

Item number 30 09 4263 in a sort of periwinkle blue color

Here it is second on the left with all the other coral colors

Some box backs have been seen online and better images from announced sets have been updated when possible. A few new variants have been found in the process of doing that as well.

From Novelmore set 71031 the rat does seem to be in a light purple

From Novelmore set 71023 the scorpion is lava orange

From the Ayuma Advent Calendar 71029 the snake has spots

From Ayuma 71030 the lizard is a new yellow or green color

and apparently a red vase sponge

There are also 6 birds and a butterfly in that set that may or may not be new colors. It's hard to tell so I am leaving them off for now and will update when part numbers are available.

From Wiltopia Amazon (wave 2) 71010 Manatees has a new dragonfly variant

and from 71008 Tower there is a lizard in a dark color with stripes

Based upon what has been seen with Wiltopia Wave 1 it is highly likely that some animals that appear repeats in wave 2 will in fact end up being new variants based on the plastic used. Those will get updated when I have the sets in hand and can verify. More related to that in the Wiltopia Wave 1 post

There are images of set 71013, another tower set for the Amazon theme, but it hasn't shown up on an official site or catalog yet so I am holding off posting it until we know for certain it is coming out this calendar year.

Images are leaking of the new Dreamworks Dragon sets, but again while the theme has been announced I am waiting for an official source to confirm the 2022 release sets.
