December 29, 2021
First off, apologies for the down time this last month. My host moved Animobil to a new server and somehow uploaded an old version instead of the current one. Since it was their error, I had to wait for them to fix it themselves instead of just uploading it again myself. I could have done it faster for the main sites, but I have some old files that I was afraid I might miss that could effect images. It's all fixed now though, and in fact I have done the final uploads of the last updates for 2021.
For Animobil proper let's start with Ayuma. The Ayuma instructions are all online, and I have updated with the part numbers for the animals. In doing this I did discover some additional new part numbers and probable different variations.
The bear from 70805 has a new part number and I am guessing that is because the eyes are painted.
The hedgehogs from 70801 have new numbers and seem to have a darker tan or orange body instead of the usual light tan
The squirrels in the same set also have a new number and perhaps are that same new color? Not the usual tan and clearly not orange or brown.
There was an auction online that I won with a few Ayuma animals along with random figures. Included were the wolf and peacock
Also included was this big spider.
This is a huge surprise since it is from an Ayuma set that has shown up in leaked images online but not been officially announced yet, let alone released. The set number is 70825 and is the bat fairy house.
Moving on in new animal news there is a velociraptor variation in the Playmobil Magazine in Spain and Germany. The German set number is 80758
The other batch of new additions this update was the addition of the Star Trek tribbles. These come in the big Enterprise set. I don't have the set or the tribbles themselves. I am hoping to find them online by themselves, or at least find someone who is willing to do actual photos for them eventually.
Tribbles are in the Mythical category, and there were some other additions there as well. From the Novelmore Advent Calendar this year is this new small wyvern just added in this update. Red and tan
A final informational addition this time are the part numbers for the pink and light blue frogs from the Everdreamerz. I ordered them from the parts department to find out which number is which color and can confirm that the pink one is 30 07 3063 and the blue one is 30 07 3073
Many other images were added this time. Catching up on the winter additions to my collection thanks in part to a shipment from Germany via Daniela. Here are other new images at the main site.
Lots of great additions there, including the unique dogs. I am hoping that Ayuma will get a bundle or a special sale at some point so I can pick up the rest of the theme for a good price. In the US the whole theme costs over $500 which is just too much, so barring a great sale I will be getting the animals as possible from other sources. Parts department either doesn't have many of them or the prices are really high. 10€ for the teal lynx for instance.
The other update this week was to Animobil.info/robomobil where I have added the two robots that were still missing from the Space Police theme
and also from the Novelmore Advent calendar Dario's battle practice bot
On that one the hips and upper legs have stickers rather than printing.
There are tons of images of the 2022 releases out there online including things from the second half year, which is unusual this early. I have a policy of not posting images and added them to the site until the set is listed online by Playmobil at their websites or in thier digital catalog. There is always the possibility of change (Everdreamerz series 4 for instance) especially these days. Apparently they have had another change in top management. The return of rereleased Victorian sets and new versions of the Circus are exciting though, and leaks show quite a few Western sets as well. No new animals spotted in these so far but there are quite a few coming in other themes. There were 98 new animal variations in 2021 and 2022 is looking fairly big as well. Rumoured sets include some long sought after new species. If you aren't already looking there, Amclicks is the place these days for the first information about upcoming sets.
Thanks for reading - Tiermann
