Nuremberg Toyfair has happened and lots of new sets are now online in the catalogs and many on Playmobil.de
The biggest theme for new animals this year is the Mermaids Undersea world, there are a number of sets and most have at least one new color variation.
Totally new are these things which are probably tunicates.

Lot's of flowers have been added to the usual corals to fluff up the underwater world. There may be some corals in new colors but not much definite yet. I am leaving them off for now and when part numbers come available with the instruction sheets I will add any that turn up.
One definite new one is the sea anemone in blue

That double lion in gold and red is really outstanding.
Not yet in the catalog or on the website is a new knights fantasy battle theme of fire versus water. It has been shown in publicity stills so far on social media. There is an advent calendar for the theme that has been announced though. Two new animals so far, and some shields

Also in an advent calendar are two new cattle color variations. I am wondering if it may be the flocked spots on these white cattle as previously seen in advent calendars for horses and ponies.

That's it so far. There will be more sets coming later in the year. If you have noticed anything else definite please let me know. I haven't updated Animobil sites to reflect this yet, but will be doing so by the end of the month.
Thanks for reading - Tiermann
